Scope

´5G-TRACE will target two healthcare facilities: Theageneio Hospital is the main medical center where medical records and expensive medical equipment resides; the “Nikos Kourkoulos” facility will serve as a “home care paradigm” where smart medical bed and health monitoring devices are used to ensure real time exchange of measurements, contact with doctors, decision making and transfer of medical files.

´The identified areas are not sufficiently covered by new 5G technology, so the investment will help in connecting these areas with cutting edge technologies and supporting demanding (high throughput, low latency) use cases.
