The use case scenarios to be used for testing and validating the 5G infrastructure will exploit WINGS experience from the STARLIT, AIRWINGS and ARTEMIS platforms.
The use cases scenarios to be evaluated will address situations such as (however not limited to):
Use Case 1:Patient Monitoring
- Smart bed with asset tracking and sensors
- Smart watch with real time biometric data, HR, SPO2, temp, blood pressure and GPS position for patients via real-time voice/video communication and 24hrs monitoring centre.
Use Case 2: Medical diagnosis
- 5G enabled infusion pumps to ensure precise medication injection.
- Ultrasound 5G tablet and probe for outpatient cardiac exams – eligibility for chemotherapy – and real time sending of results to cardiology department of the hospital.
- AI artificial intelligence software for breast cancer detection for immediate triaging positive from negative patients during mobile breast screening.
- Artificial intelligence (AI) software for Computed Tomography (CT) detection of lung nodules and comparison of oncology patients real-time in hospital.
Use Case 3: Smart and Green applications for building facilities
- A central unified smart IoT (Internet of Things) building platform that will gather, process data and will use AI.
- Sensors for Consumption and Level of Heating Oil Tanks.
- Electricity Metering & Saving.
- Drinking Water Consumption.
- Smart air quality measurement systems.
